The new Donkey Whisperer Farm is moving along, since I enjoy blogging I thought it would be fun to share and document as we transform this beautiful land into our home, equestrian and hay facility.  “The Donkey Whisperer Farm, LLC.”

Thank you Jesus!

We have a physical address, a road permit and the parameter fencing has started!  GOD has blessed us with some super nice new neighbors Fred and Dorthy who have been gracious enough to share all of these photo’s with us. Thank you so very much! I selected the same green color stain as my current outdoor arena for the posts and top rail to hold the fencing in place.

We use the red brand horse fencing as this is the safest equine fence in addition this fence stops predators from coming in. Our new farm has two pear trees, one apple tree and one willow tree, the rest is farm land with three roads against the property.  So my sweet husband Scott ordered a potty station for the men working to build our fence.  🙂

GOD bless you and your family two and four-legged!

The Fence Work Begins

    • Hi Herman,

We are so excited, so many things to do and it is wonderful. We start interviewing architects, and a builder next. Praying we can sell our beautiful farm on 5 acres in Kingston by next spring. We are working to have everything ready for the equine, barn up, road, water, electricity, toilet in the barn, washer and dryer in the barn by next May my birthday is May 10th, so it is a good goal. We will add our current turn-key home on the market after we move into our 5th wheel with all of our animals. This will make it way easier to keep clean and let people walk into the paddocks, check out the camera systems in the barns and not have to leave he house when potential buyers come to look at our farm. Praying for GOD’s favor to sell the house as easy as it was to purchase the land. The land was only offered to us, no one else was given the opportunity to buy it. Praying GOD places this home on a person heart and we sell it without having to list it would be so much easier this way. Working hard to get the last two projects completed. Guest bath, gutted and remodeled and add new interior and exterior doors. Our home was built in 1992 and we are the second owners, we have worked really hard on our current farm. I will miss my flowers but GOD has a new plan and we are looking forward to a new life more sunshine. We can drive to the rain forest in about 1 1/2 hour and see all the trees we need to see. Big changes are coming and we are excited.

  2. How cute to see you and the dogs all sitting out there watching the action! Hi Melody! Yes! One hole at a time! I have seen this movie, and have soon to do it again, apparently either by myself or doing like you guys and hiring someone! Your place has amazing potential as an equine sanctuary in the broadest sense of the word– lots of room for Rio and Lily and the new one to run and roam, even the little man too… haha and this is only the exterior fencing! This is amazing Mel, and so much fun to share with you! Thanks for that honey! So inspirational! You are such a great example to young people and old as well, how believing in the power of love for Jesus and God’s ability to transform our lives can manifest for the greatest possible good for all! Awesome beyond imagination! You go girl! Design is the most fun thing of all! 🙂 Love to all the animals! Cissy in Texas

    • Hi Cissy,

I am so excited to see what GOD is going to do next. Jan 1st, 2014 I go back to work I am so excited to go back to work under the Donkey Whisperer Farm, LLC as a virtual coach, trainer and consultant helping people all over the world with their donkeys, mules and horses. It has been a really long 3 1/2 years and my health is doing better each week. Had a setback with the cold damp weather but back up and moving again feeling good today after my weekly massage. I guess this will be something I need the rest of my life.

We are so excited to get this land as it is truly a gift from GOD double for our troubles as the bible reads. This land is flat and I can walk easier and get stronger and prepare for older age as it is going to more difficult as I age. We will have 7 equine. Lily gets Trophy a black saddle bred mare age 5, Rio will get a couple of standard donkeys to play with and Rocket Man gets a mini. Setting their fences up with the Paradise paddock to keep them moving. I’m getting excited as I can see things starting to move now was stuck in neutral for so long. We meet with the first of 3 architects and builders this week to build our custom rambler so I can stay in my home into my old age. My grandma just turned 93 and she is still living in her home. I need a one story home, no stairs and no hills. It’s fun to share and have an electronic book of the land from start to finish. Here is my draft web site launching on Jan 1st, 2014 what do you think of it?

How are you doing? Send me a private message in FB or when you get a chance I pray for you each and every day!

      Big hug,
