Watch Roy sleeping, yes he is in deep REM sleep. All equine need to get a little REM sleep. Sadly donkeys that live alone cannot get REM sleep as usually one donkey stays awake on guard for the predator.

Winter is coming. Washed all of our blankets and added a water repellant spray. Feels so good to be prepared.
