At Donkey Whisperer Farm we only allow our donkeys out on pasture in the early morning hours or late evening! Please NEVER put your donkeys out on pasture from 10am to 5pm when all (green or brown) grass is high in sugar. Grass is poison to donkeys and plays a major role in metabolic disorders and hoof disease, specifically laminitis and founder.
