Why do we use the Livestock Guarding Dog (LGD) on the Donkey Whisperer Farm?

These dogs have a bark to keep the predators away from our farm animals. The LGD is instinctively bred to bark at the predator and protect their farm animals. The LGD is not a herding dog. This is not a dog for the first time dog owner, these dogs need a fence, lot’s of exercise and we must remember they are very smart.

Mini donkeys cannot defend themselves. All animals need a leader and a great fence.
