Mules and Horses Of The Olympic National Park

The Olympic National Park is in our backyard. Hubby (Scott) and me have child memories of the same places growing up in Washington State. The Olympics are a huge reason we live in Sequim, Washington.  The hiking trails are maintained by mules and a few horses owned and cared for by the National Park Services.

Resource: Olympic National Park Mules & Horses

Do not feed the mules and horses.  All equine living in domestication are on a special diet. It is very important to never feed a horse, donkey, or mule without permission. Why? Colic is life threatening. Meaning; changing the diet can cause a serious life threatening issue. Please never feed any equine without permission.
