We are proud to teach you how to measure your donkey, mule or horses head and our contractors will make the halter custom by hand to fit the head of your equine.Each lead line we sell with our halter is handmade too. A quality solid brass snap, with a leather end a stamp of two donkeys on the leather end. Our business logo is ON DONKEY TIME. This means take things slow and do the job right the first time. Our Mini and standard size donkey halter measurements will fit any mini or standard size donkey or burro from age 4 months to full-grown. As always if you want to measure we are happy to provide this service to you.
All other equine require you to measure the head. We provide the template to measure after your order is received.
Mini donkeys and small ponies, mini mules receive a 6ft soft yacht lead line, brass screw on snap, leather end.
Standard size donkeys or a 13 hand equine a 9ft lead line, soft yacht rope, brass screw on snap, leather end.
Mammoth donkeys, horses, mules receive a 12 foot soft yacht lead line, a brass screw on snap, leather end.
Seventeen soft yacht rope colors to chose from! Yacht rope is easy to clean and will never mold. Wash in a bucket of warm soapy water and let dry.
Why the three lead line sizes?
We want you to be safe. A lead line must be long enough to send into a gate, stall or a horse trailer. Your safety is number one. Our brass screw on snap is part of our training program and it makes adding a longer or shorter lead line a snap to change out.
