Hot Air Balloons Flying Over The Donkey Whisperer Farm

Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm,

Living on our new farm in Sequim, Washington is a treat each and every day a blessing from Jesus Christ, yesterday was one special morning. The morning started out like all mornings on our farm and then at 8:30am our big dog a rescue started barking. We looked out the back of our 5th wheel windows top to bottom (temporary home) to see not one but two hot air balloons flying low over the farm. Wow!

Both my husband and I started running to get out of our jammies and find the camera. Here is a few shots of the photo’s we captured, we would so love to get some copies of what the passengers took of our new farm.  We moved to our twenty acres (GOD found for us) last summer with nothing on it except two pear trees, irrigation and one apple tree on June 1st, 2014. We have everything set-up for our eight equine now and we are waiting to sell our home and equestrian farm on five acres before building our last home. We are in our fifties now and this is indeed where we will live out the rest of our life.

Did You Know?

Sequim, WA was just voted one of the best places to retire in the United States Of America?

Rio (Mammoth donkey 16’2 hands tall) is a huge introvert and it only took him about two minutes to decide the aliens in the sky with the fire-breathing machine might just eat him! Rio quickly started trotting back to the safety of his barn. Oboe and Tuba followed him but Oboe (extroverted) took his time.  Our new mare Miss Trophy started getting really scared and running so I walked up and calmed her down. A hot air balloon makes noise and is a bit scary to equine I did not want my horses to run through a fence.  After the balloons and loud fire-breathing aliens left the farm it took Rio three hours before he would go back out and eat on his pasture and I had to walk with him and help him feel safe. Poor Rio he is thinking , Where did we move to?
